Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using LedgerJob (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company. You must be at least 18 years old.

2. What the Service does

LedgerJob is software for contractors to manage leads, clients, quotes, projects, schedules, timesheets and invoices, including a portal where your clients can review and approve documents and pay invoices. We provide the software; we do not perform construction work, give legal, tax or accounting advice, and we are not a party to the agreements between you and your clients.

3. Trial, subscription and billing

  • Free trial: 14 days, no credit card required. When it ends, access is limited until you choose a plan.
  • Plans: $299 per month, or $2,999 per year. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
  • Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: Cancel at any time from Settings. Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for; we do not prorate partial periods.
  • Refunds: Within 14 days of your first paid charge, ask us and we will refund it. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
  • Failed payments: If a charge fails, we retry it. If it keeps failing, the subscription may be suspended and later canceled.
  • Price changes: We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal. You can cancel before it applies.

4. Payments

Your subscription is billed through Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store them.

Separately, you may connect your own Stripe account so your clients can pay your invoices by card. Those payments are between you, your client and Stripe, and land in your Stripe balance. We take no percentage of them and are not responsible for chargebacks, disputes or payouts on your account.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for everything done under your account, including by users you invite. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You control which roles your team members have.

6. Your data

Everything you put into the Service stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, back up and display it so the Service works, and to provide support.

You can export your data at any time. After cancellation it remains available for 30 days, then it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Your clients’ data

When you upload information about your clients, you confirm you are allowed to do so and that you will handle it lawfully. For that data you are the controller and we act as your processor, following your instructions. Requests from your clients about their own information should be handled by you.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law, infringe someone’s rights, or send spam or deceptive messages through the Service.
  • Try to access other customers’ data, probe or attack the infrastructure, or bypass usage limits.
  • Resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement.
  • Upload malware, or content you have no right to store.

9. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and monitor it continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, third-party outages and incidents happen. Support is provided by email during business days. No specific uptime or response time is guaranteed under these terms.

10. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. You are responsible for reviewing the documents, prices and calculations the Service produces before sending them to your clients.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused it.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms, fails to pay, or puts the Service or other customers at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify account owners by email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.
